About Us
Established in 2002 by Lee Crowell, Dale’s Pocono Bistro continues to evolve. Our most frequent customer compliment is that we serve well prepared fresh food and that inspires us to continue.
We strive to offer freshly prepared food through years of recipe development. In our kitchen you will find only top quality ingredients such as pure olive oil, AA butter, cafe free eggs and artisan bread baked fresh every day. We bake fresh chicken here in our ovens, roast our vegetables from fresh produce, chop and rinse lettuce for salads and make all of our soups here from fresh ingredients. Each morning we chop Yukon Gold potatoes for home fries. Our breakfast meats offer a selection of local farm sausage, thick sliced bacon, Virginia ham and John Taylor pork roll. Our servers take pride in the beverages they prepare for you.
Whether it be a hot cappuccino or latte, custom roasted coffee, one of our fresh brewed iced teas or iced tea blends or one of our signature smoothies you will not be disappointed.
Our History
Founded in 2002 by Lee Crowell our original effort was to serve great coffee and a few pastries. In 2005 we moved to our current location with a kitchen that allowed us to offer a full breakfast and lunch menu. In that same year Karlyn Webb joined our staff as a server, a year later became our General Manager and in 2013 a full business partner.

Our Customers
Locally, we’ve developed a loyal clientele from all walks of Pocono mountain life including professionals, tradespeople, construction workers, retirees, and of course local residents. We also serve many visitors to our naturally beautiful parks and recreational destinations including: PA State Game Lands, Big Pocono State Park, Kalahari Resorts, Great Wolf Lodge Resorts, Camelback Ski Resort, Camelbeach outdoor water park and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark. Of course we can’t forget to mention the shoppers at Pocono Premium Outlets. All of these places are less than 15 minutes from us in Bartonsville.
